We’re thrilled to share that through our subsidiary, WRMA, we will be supporting the Administration for Community Living (ACL) on the Older Americans Act (OAA) Technical Assistance (TA) and Training Support contract.

The Older Americans Act helps millions of older adults remain independent and connected to their communities. It supports essential services such as Meals on Wheels, caregiver assistance, transportation, legal services, and elder abuse prevention.

Through this work, our team will partner with ACL to strengthen the implementation and impact of OAA programs across the country. This includes state and local aging agencies, tribal organizations, community partners, grantees, and other members of the national aging network.

A key focus of this project will be helping make complex information easier to understand and use. Our team will provide technical and analytical support to help ACL respond to emerging needs, interpret OAA requirements, and support implementation of the updated 2024 OAA regulations. We’ll develop practical resources, reports, tools, and communications, as well as support trainings, convenings, and other opportunities to share knowledge across the aging network.

Through these efforts, we’ll help strengthen consistency, build capacity, and support continuous improvement in OAA programs across states and territories. Our work will also help ACL identify common challenges and emerging technical assistance needs, informing resources and approaches that are responsive to the needs of the aging network.

WRMA is proud to contribute to ACL’s mission and support the systems that help older adults and caregivers access the services and supports they need. We look forward to bringing our experience, creativity, and commitment to this project.
