The National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS) is a voluntary data reporting system collecting data from state, territory, and the District of Columbia’s adult protective services systems.

The LRC has supported NAMRS in their annual report development since 2019 and leads the formatting of this publication, developing scores of charts, tables, and infographics as well as collaborating with subject matter experts to generate a user-friendly layout that highlights key data takeaways.

The LRC provided copy editing services for the project, improving readability and use of grammar and aligning with AP style.  In addition, the LRC completed 508 remediation of the report to ensure it is fully accessible to users with visual and other disabilities.

NAMRS’s annual reports are available on their website: NAMRS – Adult Maltreatment Reports (acl.gov)
