WRMA sought to highlight the national impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on child welfare systems using data from the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS) annual report. To make this information more accessible, the LRC collaborated with WRMA researchers to create a data brief using data visualization to present key insights in clear, digestible chunks. Despite the complexity of the layout and charts, the brief remains fully 508-compliant and accessible.
