CCDF Fraud Toolkit
The Learning and Resource Center, on behalf of WRMA and its client the federal Office of Child Care (OCC), created this interactive series of self-assessment tools for state Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agencies. The modules support states in increasing program integrity and accountability and decreasing fraud within their child care programs. Within each tool, the CCDF agency answers a series of questions across several categories. The tools then generate risk assessment levels and provide additional related resources. The agency can then access visual dashboards and a printable report displaying their results to drive action steps and future decision-making.
Provided by OCC’s National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA), the toolkit encompasses five separate evaluation sections or tools: an overall fraud risk assessment, and additional assessments for prevention, detection, enforcement and recovery, and monitoring.
The LRC provided copy editing services for the project, improving readability and use of grammar and aligning with AP style. The CCDF Fraud Toolkit resides on OCC’s Child Care Technical Assistance Network website and is 508-compliant.
